I began tutoring as a part-time job while still in school, recognising early on that building strong academic foundations is essential for success. Having attended a grammar school, I understand that while these schools can offer excellent opportunities, they aren't the right fit for everyone. Finding the right school that aligns with a student's unique strengths is key. Over the years, I’ve helped over 100 students secure places at their desired schools and achieve high grades in their GCSE exams.
Starting with in-person tutoring, I transitioned to online sessions during COVID-19, which offered unexpected benefits. Online tutoring allows students to feel more at ease in their own homes, and parents appreciate the convenience of not having to rush to drop off their child. It’s also more interactive and engaging for today’s tech-savvy generation, helping students become more in tune with the rapid rise of technology. By late 2024, I was fully booked and began offering small group classes, with a maximum of six students per group. This approach not only fosters healthy competition and collaborative learning but also makes tutoring more accessible by reducing costs, ensuring that high-quality education is available to all.
